Citizens with a Schengen Visa may enter Panama as tourists.

The government of Panama eliminated by means of Executive Decree 114 of April 4, 2018, the visa requirement to enter Panama for foreigners that need to apply for an authorized visa. The foreigners from restricted countries who hold a Schengen Visa may enter Panama without having to apply for a tourist visa.

The Decree provides that the foreigners will not require a visa to enter Panama if:
1. They have a Schengen Visa or Valid Residence duly issued by one of the States Members of the European Union (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Romania, and Sweden).

2. The Schengen Visa is one of the multiple entries,

3. The Schengen Visa had been used previously in the territory of the granting State

4. The Schengen Visa validity is not less than one year at the time of arriving in the Republic of Panama.
